About Us

Har Shalom Preschool is a small, inclusive early childhood program that follows the Poudre School District calendar (August–May). 

We serve a diverse community of families and educators and provide a nurturing, supportive work environment.

Our program is Montessori-inspired and incorporates elements of Reggio Emilia, emergent curriculum, and other child-centered approaches to meet the unique needs of every learner.

 

Position Overview

We are seeking a warm, dynamic, and dedicated Assistant Preschool Teacher to join our team starting August 4, 2025. This 37.5-hour per week M-F, 10-month position includes assistant teaching responsibilities

• Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Includes 30 minutes of daily preparation and planning time. Staff meetings are from 2:30-4:30 once a week. 

• Role: Assistant Teacher in classroom

 

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate curriculum

• Support and build strong relationships with children and families

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment

• Collaborate positively with co-workers in a team-based setting

• Fulfill all professional development and licensing requirements as mandated by the State of Colorado

 

Qualifications

• Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) qualification preferred

• Experience with Montessori, Reggio Emilia, or emergent curriculum is preferred but not required

• Jewish knowledge is a plus but not required

• Positive attitude, flexibility, and a passion for early childhood education

 

Compensation

• $18/hour
