Workforce Scholarships

Since the 2002-2003 academic year, ECCLC has provided well over half a million dollars in scholarships to individuals working in the field of early care and education in Larimer County. We offer both Higher Education and Professional Development scholarship opportunities​​

​Applications are accepted at any time and are considered on a first-come first-serve basis. Often the requests for scholarships exceed the funding available even before the final deadlines. Applicants are encouraged to apply as soon as possible.
 

The current deadlines for Higher Education Scholarship applications are:​

Professional Development Scholarship

  • Reimbursement for providers and educators participating in a professional development opportunity that will help obtain or maintain a license, credential, degree, or certificate.

  • Applicants must work in a licensed EC program within Larimer County.

  • Funding is first come, first served.

  • What can be covered:

    • CDA (classes or test/certificate)

    • Conferences

    • Trainings/Webinars

    • Training for specific accreditation

    • Training event or series for ECE professionals

Higher Education
Scholarship

  • Funding may only be used for tuition, fees and/or books.

  • Applicants must be taking ECE courses or enrolled in an ECE related degree program at an accredited college or university.

  • The primary goal of this scholarship program is to develop and support an effective and well-educated workforce serving infant, toddler and preschool age children and is not intended for those seeking careers in elementary education.

  • Applicants working in the field of early care and education in Larimer County will be prioritized.
